I am preparing a presentation on Personal Learning Networks for the Maine Principal's Association. I would love your input on what may be the best direction to take this large group.
Thoughts:
1 - Why PLN's and how they can benefit you as an administrator
2 - What tools are available?
--- Netvibes page ready with feeds for Podcasts, Blogs, Twitter account, TED videos for admins etc.
--- Taped interviews with some Principals that understand and use their own PLNs.
3 - Session will include a presentation (to help them follow discussion) and a back channel (for feedback)
Tomorrow is dedicated to getting the framework together.
I am very interested in your school district size and professional development plan. Is your position similar to a Director of Curriculum? Please feel free to join the discussions.
