What do you hope to get from this collaboration?
I wish to create a group of educators in my area who will "gang up" on the powers that be in my District armed with quantitative data of online sites that support student learning or have creative applications for ALL STUDENTS leanring in a way that is REAL PRACTICAL and not just rhetoric.

I love the "from home" part. One of my goals is to always use tools that students (and teachers) have available to them anytime they have an internet connection. I also lobby to get inexpensive connectivity to those in need and furnish "used" computers to students that are unable to have their at home. Not always successful - but one of my goals.

I have never seen the turning cube in a ppt. It is available in many of the online slide making programs.

All the links to the applications I included in my presentation are listed on http://jdorman.wikispaces.com/ppln. The "flower" graphic was created with http://www.aharef.info/static/htmlgraph/

The specific effects with images were either created with Picnik or with the image editing that is part of PowerPoint 2007.

Thanks for the feedback! It is often an uphill battle (in the snow, with no shoes, etc.) Sometimes you just need to persist until they give in . . .
